Purchased Extended Warranty from Circuit City for my New Computer two years ago. I have been jerked around for about a year an a half now on a Sound Problem.
After waiting them out they have finnally OK'd my repair two weeks ago. After two week have gone by and now they tell me their is a parts problem. I wounder how long it will take to get the parts. I paid $400.00 to Circuit City for this Insurance Policy and all I get is the run around.
I read another unhappy customers complaint about the same company and it is quite evedent that they use the stall tatic.
Keep the customer waiting on: Phone Calls, Repairs etc and maybe they will go away. I think my average time per phone call is about 2 hours. I know they want me to hang up but I do not.
I am a stock holder in GE and I think that they as well as Circuit City need to know about the poor response on this Division. May be the State Attonrey should know also.
I will let you know how my Sound Card Repair Goes. I hope it is not like the customer with the Compaq Computer.
I have had to return my computer to Orginal Soft Ware Condition Two or Three times, for them to even talk to me. You know what that is like.
Here is hoping that I have something good to report after waiting for one an a half years.
