Refuses to cancel account, says our info is incorrect Odgen, Utah

I signed up for AOL to use on a trip and used it for aprx. A week. I forgot to call and cancel it but after 3 months I started getting charged $23.90 from our bank account. I then received a letter from AOL stating if I did not cancel it, our monthly fee would go from the $23.90 to over $50 a month. I called to cancel but they say the information I give them about my account is wrong. You have to verify either your billing information or the answer to your security question. I know the answer to my securtiy question and it wouldn't be anything else but when I give them the answer they say it is incorrect.

Then when I give them my billing method which was my bank card, they say it's incorrect. Yet, they are taking the money from my account yet they say the account number and the card number is wrong. How can it be wrong if they are getting it from my account??? I called my bank to verify that the billing method was my bank card and called AOL back to tell them that it is my bank card number and couldn't be any other number and they still say it's wrong and refuse to cancel my account. This is a bunch of BS. I am in the Air Force and will be calling Legal Aid this week.
