Well well, Eroticy thinks they are intelligent little con artists, and I would have to argee with them, but after two little encounters with the site, I can prove them wrong, and will be reporting this to higer powers.
First ordeal was about 3 years ago. I was a bit younger and dumber and to be honest blind to the ways of internet companies rip-off scams. I joined Eroticy as a trial member, no e-mails, until after my free membership expired.
The very same day, I got about 10 e-mails from different women and couples, so blindly I sent eroticy a money order (never send these con artists your check or credit card #) for the amount required to get my membership back up. So I replied to the e-mails, never heard a peep back from any of them. Well, I will say that I talked to about 2 "real" women from the site. Only through the e-mail of eroticy though.
Well, about two weeks before my membership ran out, I got a e-mail from a woman who fo course seemed so convincing. The whole " I am travelling Business woman, while I am away, I like to play" line. Well, I thought O. K I will reply. So for about two weeks, everyday I got a e-mail from her as we talked back and fourth. Well, my memebership ran out, and stupidly, I sent another payment, when I got my account back up, never heard from her again.
So I noticed the pattern, bait, hook, reel em' in. So I was talking to another woman on the site, and I gave her my e-mail address, oddly enough when I sent it to her, my e-mail was [email protected], of course they change it to [email protected] (adultfriendfinder does this as well). I knew right then it was all a scam. So I put on the messege board how much of a rip off the site was, and how I will never use such a scam again.
The next day, I, suprisingly, was banned from the site. So, being pretty smart, I made a new account. They changed my messege from blasting Eroticy, to saying "any lovely ladies here?" how lame on them, plus, my profile is still there, showing online, with my pics, of course. Oh yeah, that woman who was talking to me, I saved her pics, oddly enough, my friend had a adult magazine with the same woman in it, I thought I seen her somewhere before. SO, yes, they use porn stars pics to bait ya in, sorry paying people, it's true.
The next encounter was recently, out of boredom really, but had to know if it would work. I joined, again, as a free member, and don't believe that crap about them knowing your IP address, you can change a IP address like you can change your clothes, easily.
So I made a profile, this time, no pics, no anything, but plain gibberish.in fact, here is what I put under the What is One of Your wildest Fantasies, or something like that, and I quote my exact words: jsjsjsjsjjdjdjdjdjdjdjjdjdjdjjdjdjjdjdjdjjd. All that same letters and gibberish, for a whole paragraph, through everything you are supossed to fill in. Well, the morning of the day my free membership was suppose to cancell, I get this e-mail from a lady with the screen name LustyLynda (very original): "hey stud, I would love to do all those naughty, nasty things you said in your profile, I can't wait to do what you said baby." So, apparently, Eroticy does not view profiles before posting them, probably will after this post cause I know the read them, right RUTH???
So, in conclusion, Eroticy is ripping off, lonely people who only are looking for a good time. I thought I needed it, but all I had to do was go out my front door. So please people, if you read this, DO NOT buy into Eroticy's little con game. Go out, find a woman or man on your own. It ain't that hard. But do not let these heartless, vindictive, manipulitive people get your hard earned money. Just think, they have never worked hard a day in their lives, right Lisa??
