LA Fitness charged my bank account 10 days before they were supposed to. At first it appeared that they had gotten everything reversed, but then 3 days later, the charge was processed causing overdrafts on my account. I had signed up for additional training sessions and the money was not supposed to be billed until the 15th, they took it out on the 6th, I complained and they reversed it, then it ended up processing through my account again on the 9th.
I told them to cancel everything I have with them because I am done with all of this. It's wasted hours of my time and caused a great deal of stress. They cancelled my membership but are refusing to cancel my previous training contract stating that it was for a year and all they could offer is for me to pay it off at 50% of the remaining balance.
What a joke, they make a mistake that costs me to spend my time straightening out and then refuse to let me out of a contract because I signed it! The contract says they are to provide services, right now all they are providing is stress... DON'T EVER enter into one of their training contracts. First they put me with one trainer, then I ended up with another. They can change the rules as they go along, erroneously bill you and waste your time, but you MUST adhere to the contract. What a farce!
