Oct 2011 ordered sample $3.95/rcvd with $69.95 tube of product and charged my credit card without permission. Told to keep product and would credit my credit card.in disp with Discover and telling I

In August I ordered via internet a sample of Strixaderm No Wrinkles Now for $3.95 (for shipping) using my Discover card. I received the sample within 7-8 weeks. During that time, I called to inquire why I had not received the sample because I was concerned due to using my credit card and was told due to the over whelming response, the product had been backordered, but mine was schedule to ship within a couple of weeks.

When I received my product on 10/11, received one box with two tubes of identical product and one invoice for $69.95. I was shocked to see this invoice in my box, so I called Strixaderm and spoke with Darrell Agent #54 to ask why I was billed for this amount. He told me that because I had waited over 30 days to cancel my order after my trial period of the product, that my membership had started and the second tube was my first months shipment and according to the agreement, that I was supposed to cancel after my trial if I didn't want to receive this. I explained that I didn't have time to trial the product as I received the trial in the same box and how would I know if I liked the product or not? So Darrell talked to his manager and received permission to allow me to keep the second tube at no cost and credit the invoice and my credit card. Darrell stated it would take at least 30 days for credit to be issued to my card. He also cancelled my membership. The cancellation #17281 and forwarded an email dated 10/24 verfying same.

The $69.95 charge appeared on my Discover November statement and this was my first mistake... I paid it, thinking it would be adjusted as promised. To this date, it has not. On January 14 I spoke with a manager and was told that it had been submitted several times for credit and Discover kept rejecting, and it would not go through and I should call Discover and take it up with them. So that is exactly what I did. Discover issued temporary credit and placed this charge in a "disputed" status.

Received email from Discover on 2/3 stating that Strixaderm will not allow credit because I did not return the product? I called Carlos at Strixaderm and he would not help me because my account is in "disputed" status with Discover card. I explained the entire story to him and he would not help me whatsoever. He said I would have to talk to Discover.

I believe this company is a SCAM...

I've only used a small portion of the sample product and it is a thick cream that does nothing to help with wrinkles. The other tube that was sent to me for $69.95 still remains unopened in the original package.
