Refusing to pay emergency with air lift
On September 11 my father in law had a stroke in Wisconsin
at 2 am, He was airlifted to Minnesota. He ended up dying in the Hospital. Now
BCBS of Florida is refusing to pay the bill saying it was not an emergency and
it was not approved. What does BCBS expect? That my 69 year old mother in law
call BCBS and ask them to take her husband of 51 to the emergency room. BCBS
first refused to pay saying it was not an emergency now they are saying it was
not approved. What is the government doing for sleazy companies like this?
My mother in law still morning and BCBS is playing games.
This is the kind of company BlueCross is. Buyers beware.
