I called to get a perscription filled for cramping that I was having. I had mentioned that I used to take stronger (not over the counter) medication in the past to help with my period at a previous appointment. She told me to take Aleve and we could discuss next time I came into the office. I called the office and let them know that I was in extreme pain, had no helpth insurance until 1.1.12 and needed to get something filled. Sharon said typically patients have to go to her website and ask for thie - BECAUSE SHE CHARGES $10 PER PRESCRIPTION.
I explained the circumstances since this was a new prescription (however was noted in my chart) and she said she would talk to the doctor. Dr. Shangold REFUSED to fill the script without charging me $45 for a phone consult.
I called after the services were on for thr evening to get in touch with her and she told me I was manipluating the situation and con tinuted to tell me that I had only mentioend needing medicine and a previos appointment.
