Planet Fitness, Waterford, CT is very unprofessional & has poor customer service. A long-term member that never missed a payment, I finally decided to cancel my membership (contract). I stated my intent,
& signed a cancellation form which was co-signed by a member of the staff. A month after the "last bill date" I'm still getting charged! The BBB site validates numerous "billing errors" & problems from this gym. Buyer beware: get the termination details spelled out & mutually agreed to before joining this place. Use a credit card for protection rather than a bank account. It's a very frustrating experience because the way they handle disputes is to place the burden on the customer to prove what the staff did (or didn't do). That being the case, I recommend all interactions with staff get video recorded. They appear to have no intention of changing their business practices. Good luck to new members!
