Complaint / Review
American Benefits Association
U.S. Medical Trust Promised free drugs

American Benefits Association would appear to prey on seniors, the unemployed, anyone desperately needing health insurance, at least according to the complaint write-ups.

Im trying to help a 73-old friend who paid $400 and was made promises, including free drugs from Canada. What she got was a $400 membership package of second rate companies from whom she could supposingly get discounts. She indicated to the caller she already had Medicare and a drug program.

Both the sales and payment were made through third party companies.

In this case American Benefits Association sale was made through a firm called US Medical Trust (theres also a complaint on them). Both companies are located at 199 S. Black House Pike, Blackwood, NJ 08012, at least according to the envelope containing the package.

The payment was also made to a third party Paypal type company Altcharge.com (also 3 consumer complaints on them, one of them concerning a health company). My friend called Citibank about cancelling the charge. Of course, she found out from the banks viewpoint, it was a legitimate banking transaction

The February 17 Report from Bethpage, NY appears to tie PJP Health Agency with American Benefits Association. There are 18 consumer complaints on PJP Health, all since October.
