I retired early and needed health insurance. Bought health insurance (so I thought) through an online site. Received a big book of policies, different cards, etc. From several insurance companies in a book which says Consumer Driven Benefits Association of America on the cover.included are things such as travel assistance, identity theft protection, online mall savings, as well as medical, prescriptions, etc.
The first time I presented my card to use for prescriptions, I discovered that this is a discount program, not insurance. It didn't even give me any more of a discount than the pharmacy already did. Have tried to cancel, now, for 3 months. Since there are so many different 'policies', companies, addresses, etc.included, I have written to all, twice, including once registered mail. I have emailed every address, called every number (one of which is no longer in service). Still, they continue to take money out of my checking account.
I feel they have made this deliberately confusing with so many companies, addresses, etc. To make it impossible to cancel easily.in fact, the company which is still taking money out of my account, IAB, is not even listed in the literature they sent me.
