My father used the LifeWatch personal monitoring system for about 6-8 months. Just 23 days into his next pre-paid 3-month service cycle, he sadly and unexpectedly passed away. I contacted LifeWatch requesting a 2 month refund on the unused service as well as the refund of his initial $100 security deposit on the equipment. I shipped back all the equipment within 3 business days via US Priority Mail. I was told to purchase $500 in insurance, which I did. I paid $18 to return this pkg. Despite repeated phone calls/voice mail messages I've left, it's been 6 weeks and I have not been able to reach them to obtain this rightful refund or find out what's happening. Do NOT do business with this company... There are other companies with much better business practices and reputations. They probably figure if they stall long enough, most busy families or the elderly customers they serve will give up eventually.
