I worked a month without pay and her excuse was always your check should be here next pay day. After I was layed off, I came back a month later and she told me that she was the new owner and the old owner claims he doesn't know who I am.
I have a 2 and 5 year old and I live in a hotel, I really need that money. I worked and slaved for nothing. I'm even more upset because I tried to apply for emergency food stamps and DHS denied my application because I could not prove my income or verify how much I would have coming in for the month. I had no check stubs, not even a W2 form. I filed an complant with the Department of labor. I just cant believe this happened in america. I was there slave and they are a complete RIPOFF
