Overcharging The Public

The following 3 things happened to me within the last month at Walgreens..

1) Was charged regular price for acetaminophen. It was listed at sales price in sales brochure. There was no sales price on shelf where it was sold.

2) Was charged for 2 cans of tuna which I did not get. I mistakenly took the 2 cans of tuna - which were not on sale - and when finding they weren't on sale I told the clerk I did not want them, she removed the cans but left the charges on my ticket. I did not discover the mistake until I got home.

3) Bought gum yesterday that was 50 cents off regular price. Was charged regular price, took the ticket to the clerk and he said he would have to find a coupon book to issue me credit - that the customer needs a coupon to get the 50 cents off. I asked how does one get a coupon book, to which he told me they are up front by the sales papers - this I had not known before. Plus I did not see on the yellow tag where I needed the coupon to get the sales price, he said it was at the bottom of the yellow sales tag..

There seems to be a pattern of this overcharging and I fear there are other people who are getting false charges and not realizing it.
