Recently I went to the Pep Boys Store on Atlantic Blvd.in Jacksonville, Fl. There I decided to purchase a 14.4V drill advertised at $19.98. While the sale display sign was missing from the holder there was a price ticket on the bottom of the shelf. I took one from
the shelf and went to the front register. And the clerk proceeded to ring me out. When I realized that the charge was $24.99 instead of the advertised $19.98, I asked if the sale price was based on a rebate or coupon. The clerk got out a yellow booklet and browsed through in for a few moments, then said Nope, that's the right price.
I went to the shelf, pulled off the price ticket, handed it to the clerk, and left. I contacted Pep Boys by e-mail forwarding a detailed explanation of the occurance and. Pdf copies attachments of the sale and the receipt.
Please see pdf attachments concerning the sale and the receipt.
