Golds Gym, When I signed up, I specifically told manager that I wanted to be sure I could cancel at any time. He repeatedly assured me I would be able to stop my membership at anytime without a cancellation fee

When I went into Golds Gym at 9272 S. 700 e. Sandy, Ut 84070 in 2009 and I sat with the manager to talk about a membership to the Gym.
I specifically told him that I wanted a membership that I could stop at anytime if needed and not have to pay a cancelation fee.
He assured me I would be able to stop my membership at anytime without a cancellation fee.
I repeated, Are you sure? He repeated and assured me that I could cancel at any time and I would not be charged a cancelation fee, then he had me sign the contract.
I was decieved. He flat out lied to me.
