Decor my eyes, eyewerus, — TOTAL SCAM. I have never had such a horrible shopping experience.

I lost my eyeglasses last summer. I wanted to order the exact same frames as the ones I lost because I really loved them. I placed the order with decormyeyes and a few days later I received an email saying that the frames in stock were cracked and they were discontinued by the manufacturer and that they would try to locate the frames with one of their affiliates.

One month later I had not heard back so I emailed them and said to cancel the order. "Stanley" emailed back "Why cant you just choose another item out of my 29,000 items?" This was my first clue that something was fishy. How much more unprofessional could you get? I replied back that I still wanted my order canceled and they actually did cancel my order and refund my money.

Here's where the real problem starts. I found the frames I wanted on a different website—EyewearUS.com and ordered them. The next day I recieved the same bogus email about the cracked frames— Great, wouldn't you know it, it was the same company as decor my eyes opperating under a different url.

I replied to the email asked for my order to be cancelled. Stanley emailed asking if I would like the frames in a different color since (boo hoo hoo) he already had the lenses made— again I told him no, cancel the order.

One week later I checked to see if my credit card had been refunded - of course not. I called the 1-800 number and asked for my order to be cancelled (the 3rd time) and the girl on the phone was nice and said that it would be canceled within 48 hrs. The next morning a different girl calls to ask me again if I wanted to choose a different item! Now I'm getting pissed. I told her no, I had made it clear 3 time by email and phone that I wanted to cancel the order.

HERE"S WHERE THINGS GET INTERESTING. That afternoon I get a call from "Stanley Bolds" himself. Immediately he starts arguing "How come you ordered the exact same item twice and then canceled it twice? Now I've got two sets of lenses that I can't do anything with unless you order a different set of frames." I basically say that A.) how ways I supposed to know that it was the same company and B.) He should have checked his inventory before ordering the lenses and then updated his inventory list so it wouldn't happen again. He was so rude and aggressive and bullying on the phone, that it was hard to concentrate. I told him repeatedly to cancel the order and that I couldn't believe how he was treating his customers, but after 15 minutes I was so angry and upset at being yelled at that my hands were shaking and I couldn't speak. He then suggested that I try on frames at a local store and let him know Monday what frames I wanted. I agreed so that I could get off of the phone with him and because I realized that I needed email records of what was going on.

I have since googled this company and found all of the other horrible stories and I just filed a transaction dispute with my credit card. Now he's offering to refund my frames and send me just the lenses!!! Ha! There aren't any lenses because there never were any frames! I guess the time has come to tell Stanley that I know he's a fraud and that I've disputed his charges. Should be interesting.
