There is no "advantage" to the Secure Horizons - AARP - Medicare Advantage Plan! They are so incompetent they cannot even provide you with copies of your "Explanations of Benefits". I am having to go after the EOB's because Blue Cross and the Mayo Clinic can not get them either. Meanwhile the Mayo Clinic has been stiffed on insurance from 2007 to the tune of $115,000.
I have made numerous calls to their call centers located around the country. All I get from them is an apology and a promise to send a request to their records center via e-mail. The supervisors cannot even make a voice contact with the record centers, they do not even know where they are located. This is truly a black hole.
If there's ever a reason for a single-payer health insurance program in this nation, Secure Horizons is a prime example.
