I signed up for a FREE trial of "Acai Berry" diet pills free trial of "Colon Cleanse" diet pills. Just pay $3.95 shipping was the claim. I got the proucts as advertised in about 5 days.inserted were two slips of paper, telling me that I was AUTOMATICALLY going to be billed another $89 for each month's supply of the product if I did not cancel within 15 days of the order originally being placed! Further, I was being enrolled in a monthly subscription to "Price Limbo" nutritionist newsletter for another $29.95 per month PLUS $1.17 (for shipping, presumably) Both these "bonuses" as well as the product subscription gave toll-free numbers to call to cancel anytime. I successfully got the product's toll-free number and got a cancellation number.
The "newsletter" toll-free number "could not find me in their system" and advised me to call back if I see any further charges, which I'll be watching for. BOTTOM LINE - THIS IS A SCAM! Their website says nothing about automatic, continuing subscriptions to anything! Anyone who orders from the scam-artists and does not take time to read the "fine print" on the papers crammed in with the product will start seeing charges repeating every month on their credit cards. I suspect that, once placed, the charges would be difficult if not impossible to remove or get refunded.
