My 1st visit i was told to come back for a follow up visit which was included so the dr could see if the contacts were working for me. When i had my follow up and informed the dr that those were not strong enough, he fitted me with another pair and said that if these didn't work for me then the only other alternative would be to buy glasses. He then charged me another $50.00 for the visit and told me my follow up for the second contacts would be free. So I paid $144.00 plus $50.00 for a total of $194.00 for both visits and neither one of those visits was i given a copy of the prescription for the contacts.
The more I thought about it the madder i became so I called and asked for the dr but as usual he left early again, so i told the one that i had on the phone that those 2 contacts (in which neither was the strength i needed) was not my only alternative but what the dr was really saying is, those are the only 2 brands he sales and therefore i'd have to spend more money to get an eye exam for glasses and then of course buy them.
I told them that i would go to another eye dr and thats what i did. Of course it cost me but the dr at walmart was very good and my very first contacts worked great and if they had not then she assured me that my options were not limited and she was sure she could find what works for me and that she did.
