Takemi Warranty and Service a Bunch of Bull, Chair not usable for 7 out of 12 months?

What's the point of a warranty if you can't use the chair for the whole period of the short term? I bought this chair in March, received it in April and in May the circuit board went out. After many arguments they finally sent out the circut board for me to put in with a long letter that I was suppose to sign releasing them from any kind of responsibility should I not install it correctly. Yeah, I'm a circuit board repair women now. It took me over 3 hours. I did not have the correct tools and did not feel good about how it went back together. They should have replaced the chair then as I had only had it for a little over 30 days and when you pay $1000 plus for a luxury item you expect luxury not back breaking repairs performed yourself.in all fairness, (not) they told me that they would re-reimburse me for a technician to do it but not until after I signed this:

Please fax a signed copy of the parts release form to 321-406-1532. Once I have a copy of the release form I will be able to send you out the replacement main cpu board for your chair.

Well, as you can see, the warranty is worthless because they then make up their5 own rules.

My chair's circuit board blew again first part of December. I have not been able to fix it because of my back. I am self employed and running a company and repairing a chair every couple of months don't go together.

While looking over my paperwork I came across their "Operation Instructions". On the last page there is a Warranty Card. It says, " If malfunction happens within warranty period (one year) and under the following conditions, this product will be repaired for free: 1. There are broken parts or malfunction w3hen purchasing this machine. 2. Damage that occurs when it is being used under the guidance of the operation instructions (but the manufacturer is not responsible for damage resulting from misuse. Operation without the guidance of the instructions, or natural disasters. 3. The damage of the non consumptive parts.

Okay, well repairing it means that they do it or they send some one out to do it. I did it and I don't work for free!

Basically I have a chair that hasn't worked the full year, they offered no further warranty period on it after the parts were installed like most company's after a part goes in they give you additional time on it... They also offer 3 years warranty according to their advertisement on their website now. Well, that must be because their interpretation of the warranty is based on the release that I copied above.

I have contacted Kim the President three times. Phoned twice and emailed once. I have not gotten a response so now I am filling this here and one with the better business bureau and talking to an attorney on the 20th of the month. I want a new chair or this one fixed by someone they pay and an additional term of one year from the replacement part added onto my warranty. If they are not willing to do this then they should not be in business because basically that means they don't stand behind their product. I am tired of being nice!
