I ordered a massage chair from Takemi Select in August. I was called in the next few days stating that the chair was not available until October. Meanwhile my credit card was charged the day after I placed the order! I questioned them about this, and never got an answer.
When the 45 days were up, I received another email from Takemi stating that the chair was still not available and would not be available for at least another 30 - 60 days, but they would upgrade it to the 2009 model and free freight express (which I had already paid for and was on my credit card bill)
Mike was very evasive in answering my email questions and I finally canceled my order and tried to ask for a date they would be crediting my credit card, which he stated would be 7 - 10 business days. They can charge me in less than 24 hours, but can't remove the charge for 10 days? 10 business days passed and about 15 business days later I called to inquire and let them know I had filed a dispute with my credit card company. My account was credited within 2 days. I am so glad to not be dealing with Takemi anymore.
I ordered the same chair from Titanchair.com and withing ONE WEEK the chair was delivered to me at a lower price, because I didn't have to pay for "express shipping". I would definately advise anyone interested in purchasing a massage chair to look at Titan and forget about Takemi.
