Scam artists, very, very poor customer service, HORRIBLE accounting/billing department

I fell victim to the late night Proactiv commercials and decided to try it. I received my inital package for $20.00 (I was told is much, much smaller than it used to be). It dried out my face and didnt work very well.

I promptly emailed customer service and told them to cancel my account with them and take me out of their billing system. A week later I received an email basically saying, "its too late, your shipment is already on its way and you have been billed".

Well... A couple of weeks past, no shipment, no charge on my account...

A week later I received the package and my account was charged $49.51.

Why-o-why was it, "too late" to cancel??? Then the battle began. I sent the pacakge back via MY OWN Fed Ex, and a week later asked if they recieved it and why I didnt get a refund. They said they didnt get it, but Fed Ex tracking showed the package was received days before.

I called again after another week. The dunce on the other line had me on hold for a half hour and finally came back on the phone and said they received it and would receive my money back. (Minus shipping and handling).

Why would they charge me for shipping and handling if I didnt even want the package to begin with???

Still have not received my money back and its been over a week.

I am going to call my bank and report an unauthorized transaction and fraud.

What a total nightmare.
