I joined club boom and was promised the pool would be open soon and was just having some light bulbs replaced. Due to bad knees it's the only way I can exercise without extreme pain. As more time passed I emailed the club twice but there was no response.
I then, contacted by phone two club managers one being Kort who said to come in the next day that all that needed to be done was the heat turned on. So the next day when I called to verify the heat had been turned on I was told in efforts to go green... The heat wouldn't be turned on until spring.
Florida is having one of the coldest winters ever so it would be excruciating to try and swim in this water with artheritic knees. I believe this company just can't afford the electric bills anymore.
I feel my contract is now voidable because I signed under false pretenses and have attempted to cancel but was put on hold for 25 minutes. When I asked to be transfered to a supervisor i was put back on hold. I tried emailing my story to ABC Financial and they rejected my email.
So I had to cancel my bank account and order a new debit card in attempt to protect myself from this fraudulent activity. My bank reccomended I report them as well which I plan on sending a copy of this letter to the local newspaper.
