Today when I provided "Bottom Line Books" Customer Service Rep "Megan" my account number, "Megan" handled my complaint about me being billed for a book my wife and I had ordered, reviewed at home, and promptly returned, namely: "Treasury of Health Secrets...". Megan said it takes several weeks for returned books to be processed, so record of that fact is eventually provided to billing; that being the reason given the record had not yet reached that department. She said she would process immediately this record — report of having returned the book. She then gave her first name and phone extension to the toll-free phone we called 1-800-67-5835, and said, "We don't give confirmation numbers, only a extension number."
The bill we received complained this was the company's 3rd notice, and threatened action.
