Failed to submitt an insurance claim

I am writing this report to warn people about Lincoln Medical Supply in Pleasantville, NJ.

My husband was in need of a new wheel chair, he is parapalgic. We went through all of the steps with his physician and the insurance company to make sure it would be covered.

A year later Sharan from there billing department calls and says that I didn't have coverage. My coverage date was May 1, and the chair was ordered on May 18. Sharan submitted the clain to the wrong insurance company. Once I spoke with her supervisor and the insurance company it was supposed to have been straightened out.

Well I got a call yestereday (9/11/08) from a collection agency stating that I owe for the wheelchair. So because Sharan didn't file the paperwork properly they called a collection agency, and they stated this has been put on our credit report. My husband and I have credit scores over 700, so we all know what this is going to do to that. I contacted the insurance company immediatly and they stayed that I was indeed covered and that it was paid for. So I am waiting for a confirmation of that.

So anyone looking for any knid of medical equipment for Lincoln Medical Supply in Pleasantville, NJ stay clear of them!!!
