Received fax about affordable health care. I called the number and talked to a rep. He explained the policy and I dicided to take it. It was $199.00 per month with a $125.00 one time enrollment fee. (non refundable of course). Said my policy would be effect 7-1-08. This was on 6-06-08, he asked for all bank info for auto draft, of course I gave it. He said the payment would come out 6-17-08, $324.00. Next payment would only be the $199.00. My daughter took this out the same day as me. We found out to day by the bank that the company NABSA had taken out $574.00 from out checking. The bank gave me the phone # listed with the transaction. Both of us called and we reached CWA / Consolidated Workers Association. We both gave them our story and before we could finish they asked for our full names and said that they would be sending out a refund check for the overdraft within two to three business days. Should be $250.00 refunded. They said it was fault in the payment processing center and that it had happened to several others. I told her I wanted the full $574.00 returned to my checking but she said they only sent checks out and that if I wanted to cancel I would have to fax the request or email [email protected] which I plan to do today. Guess from what I have read from others I better close all my bank accounts to. I really don't know if this is the same company that I read about in your site but I think it is. I received my policy and it has so many different company names and addresses, phone and fax #'s on it until I don't really know who they are. Signed: Stupid
