I came in to Crossroads Dental to get a routine and regular teeth cleaning, as I do 2 times a year. I just came in to get my teeth cleaning, nothing else. Well to begin with I had to get x-rays, doctor consult, and my cleaning. All which I had no problem with. My problem was with before I even got my teeth cleaning the manager came to my chair side and was like you need $5,000 worth of repair, but since you have good insurance all you have to pay is $1,800.
I was like I can't afford all of this, I know that my back teeth have been coroaded and probably need the work, so I agreed for the three back teeth and ended up getting 3 inlays. (Note: I have both of my bottom and top braces on as well so they were drilling my teeth while my braces were on). When the doc did my inlays I was in so much pain and asked to "double numb" me because I'm very sensitive and have anxiety. It took a week to get my inlays in and then another trip to the office. I got the three put in for $450. After that experiance I was like NO MORE! I'm DONE HERE!
I will say that I do go there for my orthodontics and have had no problems with them, it's just the general dentistry that I had a huge problem with and would not recommend going to. Choose your dentist wisely! I'm going back to my original dentist that I know does a great job.
