My daughter was a patient at the Modesto Western Dental. I went there for orthodontics and dental care. Our experience their was not very good. She needed extra attention. She is missing a adult front tooth that was never their. I was told to wait until she got her braces off before they could go any further with that problem. I was always told next time. And then I was told you may need to go to another dentist who might be able to help her, we are not able to help her.
A few months after she got her braces off. I took her to the newly open Manteca office a few blocks from my home. I purchased a new family plan they offered, I thought what a deal. WRONG.!!!
My daughters visit was nothing less than a joke. First off we waited a hour because the back office staff were still at lunch. Why schedule appointments when know one is their except the front staff and we were not the only people waiting.
Then she went back so they could evaluate her, and have a teeth cleaning. They then ask me to go back to get her results. The dental tech says the dentist needs to talk to me. The dentist walks over and says your daughter needs braces so let's schedule her for another evaluation. I looked at her and said she just had her braces removed a few months ago. She then said what dentist would do such a bad job. I replied WESTERN DENTAL IN MODESTO.
I had a bad feeling when she left the MODESTO OFFICE and now she just confirm Ned it.
After we left she started to cry and said when they cleaned her teeth the tech stuck her in the gums many time giving her extreme pain.
WESTERN DENTAL my guess employs those just out of school or still in school (externs).
Yes western dental is a cheap way to go and yes you get what you pay for.
Since our experience I have taken her to four other dentists to be evaluated and all have said she needs brace put back on. And she is missing two adult teeth not one. And they do not understand why Western Dental would not complete the job the correct way.
Now she is a freshman in College and needs braces again because they could not space the teeth that were missing correctly. What hacks beware of western dental!!!
