I responded to a fax flyer that came in my office unauthorized soliciting health insurance. When I spoke with one of their agents, they told that it would be a family plan at a price of $369. I requested more information, but, was told that it would come in the mail after my first month's premium was received. When I questioned the agent of what happens if I am not happy with the information I get, he explained to me that there was nothing to worry about since the premium would be all refundable within the first 30 days. When my package arrived, I discovered that this was not health insurance at all. I followed the instruction on how to cancel the plan and did so within the next two days. I received a letter from the company letting me know that my refund will be mailed to me within the next 14 days. As of today I have not gotten any of my money back. Not only have they not refunded me the money, but, drafted my bank account for the second month prmium after I had already cancelled the plan. I do not know what government agency to contact for help.
