I took my 91 year old mother to a MIracle Ear location and asked for a hearing aid that would be simple and easy for her to use. The cost was $4500.00. They fitted her for in the ear canal aids that she was never able to put in her ears. My mother has dementia. I took her back approximately 6 times and they ground them down and they still didn't work for her. My mother lives in a residential care facilty and eventually she lost her hearing aids. I called and explained to the rep and he said ok she is still under warranty so I can give her a discount. I told him to only give her one because all she needed was the ability to hear when someone ask her a question or told her something. He charged me $500.00 for this one when we got it back it was the same stlyle. She still hasn't been able to get it in her ear and I can't even get it in for her. I wrote a letter to the center and I never got a response. I have sent a letter to the corporate office and have had no response as of this date. I don't expect one.
