I, too, purchased a block of LA Lites bars at the "bargain prices." The local paper (Albuquerque Journal) said the owner had gotten ill and closed the 3 local LA Lites centers. Her phone number and e-mail address was given, and we we told to contact her directly as an administrator would be handling the refunds.
I tried to contact this person, both by phone number (her mailbox was "full" and not taking messages) and by e-mail, and have yet to get a response. At the time, I did not know the parent company was in the midst of lawsuits, etc. Back East.
If my worst suspicions are true, I hope to join in a class-action suit against these weasly llittle rip-off artists, if in fact that is what they are.
