I recently learned that whenever I visit the center and take home one box of LA Lites (which I had bulk purchased the month before at the "discounted" price of $14 per box) they deduct 2 boxes from my total. I asked the counselor about it and was given a VERY vague answer that amounted to one box of 14 being considered a "double" box. So to me that means I am really paying $28 per box of 14 and not $14 per box of 14 as I was lead to believe.
Apparently my definition of one box and theirs is quite different. Others have written complaints about not getting a refund. I asked also but was told there are no refunds - EVER. And if you stop going they will not refund you for any products that you prepurchased but have not picked up.
So I'll go to the center just to pick up my weekly box of LA Lites until I run out. Then, I will never go back again. They are indeed a RIPOFF. I would have been better off joining a gym and paying for a personal trainer - it would have been cheaper and the results far better.
