My husband and I just recently bought what we thought was health insurance for our family. To our surprise we got Design Savers Plan. We had no idea what it was. When we purchased the policy it was through a guy out of Portland, Oregan. His name is James Fendley. We spoke with him a few times making sure it was what we needed for our family. He reassured us that it was, about 1 week later we get a package from Design Savers Plan. I called James Fendley, he will not return any of my calls. I called Design Savers Plan and I was passed along to 5 different customer service reps. Heck, one even hung up on me when I started asking questions about the (Design Savers Plan)
I went online to look up their network of providers in my area, it turns out there wasn't any. I would have to pay for all doctors office visits up front. I called several clinics in my area and hospitals and no one had heard of them. I even got the pharmacy to run a test on my medication savings card and it didn't work. Finally, I called back and I got a helpful customer rep. She told me that They do not service Montana. I have canceled my membership with them... We'll see how it turns out.
Design Savers Plan is a ripoff. If you are looking for affordable health insurance and you get a call from JAMES FENDLEY... Please don't give him the time of day.
