I just wanted anyone or all to know that the company that referrs to themselves as American Life and Health is not a legitimate health insurance plan.
My husband and I signed up for the health insurance having theunderstanding that it would only be $144 a month. Our credit card was billed $269. I then tried to contact the people to get my money back, but no one answered the phone.
Eventually I got a hold of someone and they told me that they would have the financial department call me back. I asked for a direct line to them and they did not have one. They said it would come with my packet. 2 weeks later I neither received my packet nor a phone call.
When I finally received my packet, it was associated with Design Savers Plan which is not even health insurance. These people do not return phone calls and when you do call you will be transferred and transferred until no one is there to answer your questions.
So I returned to the website and learned that the offer still was standing but all of the phone numbers had been changed.
It is a scam. Anyone that wants can go to the BBB to find out about Design Savers Plan. Please be aware that American Life and Health is associated with design savers plan and that is not health insurance. It will only cause you problems.
