I used to work for this company so I am aware of how they work inside and out. These customers reporting this company are not lying about their services and the way they were treated. From the way they were lied to in the beginning to the way they were ripped off. I have witnessed this on a numerous of occasions. Healthcare advantage lie to these people just to make money because these people are poor just like myself, have families to care for, and work hard for every dime they make. This is unfair to them. What these people do not know is that they pay healthcare advantage for services that they are unaware that they can do for themselves. All healthcare advantage does is have their reps to call different doctors offices and pretend that they are patients looking to see a doctor, they have you asking for rates for new and established patients, then they have you to ask for a fax number and an office manager's name so a contract specialist with healthcare advantage could then call these doctors and try to get them to sign with the company.
These doctors are really found through the members who sign up with this plan, believing that they could go to any doctor (fooled with the lies from the sales agents that go door to door in different states for this company just to make money) and the members go to any doctor that is not participating in the network with this company, when the doctor's office call healthcare advantage for eligibility, once healthcare advantage find out that this doctor is not participating in the network they try to get the doctors to become apart of healthcare advantage by telling them that there are atleast one hundred members in their area waiting to see a doctor with healthcare advantages plan. This is how they do their dirty work, and etc. This company is full of hispanics that are causing people their jobs because of the color of their skin also because they disagree with the plan and the way people are canceling left and right for being lied to. I know because I worked for them and I was fired for one of these reasons and many more that had nothing to do with my job performance. I am a single parent of three children and I refuse to make a living ripping people off. Life and times are just way too hard for this type of cruelty. These people reporting this company is telling the truth because I am a living witness to it all. I am happy I no longer work for this company because they are pretending that they are helping people receive discounts (so that they can go to the doctor without any problems) and that is a lie these members do not have to pay any company so that they could receive a discount all these members have to do is call these doctors offices themselves and let these doctors know that they have no health insurance and what they do not know is that most of these doctors offices will give them discounts anyway or they will work out a payment plan.
These members are paying for healthcare advantage to do this for them. The only reason why I started working for this company is because I love working with people and even I was fooled, I really thought that they were helping people until I really started seeing how they really operate. This is wrong and may god have mercy on everyone working there that knows better. I am truly sorry for the people that was led to believe the things that they thought this company was really not cut out to be and I also am very sorry for the people who were lied to and ripped off in the process. What goes around comes around and god is good. You can not go about doing these type of things to people because we are the same people that make most of these companies rich by being consumers and investing our hardworking money to get something that we could use to better ourselves and our families. Companies like healthcare advantage, make it very hard for companies that really are legit. Time will tell eventually like my mother always said "what you do in the dark will come to light because it always does it could be now or later but justice will prevail". Last but not least, please do not misunderstand this message because of my loss with this company I am well educated, hardworking, and I really do care about people. I have lost loved ones because of the high prices of medical bills along with their illinesses. This is one of the reasons why I work in this field to help people not hurt them so please if you are in very bad need of health insurance please do not waste your time or money with healthcare advantage because they will cause you your life. And this is very precious find another option because believe me this is not one of them...
