2 weeks ago, I ordered the book Natural Cures off TV. That was my first mistake. During the call I was offered everything under the sun, I simply wanted the book and a free CD which came with the book. I was told about a subscription to a monthly newsletter, and within 30 days of my order I was given a number to call to cancel that subscription. I made sure I took down the number.
I received my book today, 9/9/05. On 9/7/05 I had a funny feeling to call that number, I did so and advised I did not want the year subscription to the monthly newsletter which was approx. $71. I was told it was cancelled and nothing additional would be charged to my account.
Today, 9/9/05, I got on line in my checking account. I have a charge for $71.00 from Natural Cures. I was mad to say the least. I called and asked if this was their business practice to charge accounts at their free will. I indicated I wanted the charge taken off today. I even called my bank, if the charge is not taken off and they collect the $71, my back will contact them to refund my money.
Bottom line, I did not authorize them to charge my account with any amount of money other than the price of the book, which now I'm sorry I bought. Do not buy anything from this company. I felt totally ripped off, that they would simply charge my account at will.
