1. Walgreens charged over twice as much as Costco for the same drugs—a very significant difference, not a few dollars; 2. They refused to honor the transfer of prescription offer, stating that I receive government benefits. Upon further calls, they told me that I need to call my Plan Administrator for Assurant and ask them to issue me a new ID number that isn't the same as what the government uses; 3. I went into try to remedy this, and after five days heard no response. When I called, the store manager who I had spoken with said she "should have called" and that "they don't price match but would give me the Savings Club Card so in the future I can take advantage of their low prices on prescription drugs."
