On December 10 (roughly this date), I purchased a red sectional from The Brick.
The total price is $990 CAD. As of this price, I was not expecting my SECTIONAL to be ripped wide open just within a year.
It is on the padding part where you sit down. The innercorner of it.
I barely sit in the spot anyway! Most of the time I am sitting on the far left hand side.
I am really upset about it. I pay almost $1000CAD for this hot looking sectional, and within just one year, it is ruined!!!??
I would like to communiate with someone that can ACTUALLY help solve with this problem, due to I am in no interest of repeating my stories over again and again.
Why?
When my sectional was being delivery, it was during in the winter time.
The delievery man (I don't remember how many people exactly). 3 of their men just walked RIGHT into my NEWLY PURCHASED home with their SOAKING WET WINTER BOOTS ON THEM!!!
So after NUMEROUS OF PHONE CALLS & email, I did not get a hold on a specific manager or any department reguarding about this problem.
I have never receieved any phone calls from The Brick up till now.
It's just one day I got a phone call from a cleaning service man, stating The Brick had hired him to clear off my carpet.
Unfortunately our appointment dates did not come to an agreement.
He stated, "I will get back to you when I have an opening available."
Up to this date, I had never hear from him.
I am even thinking, maybe it's because the smells and dirt got stained deep down on my NEWLY purchased home,
that's why one of my cat had been peeing on the carpet this whole time!!!
My cat had never done that before, even when he was with us for the pass few years!
Nevermind about the carpet, I don't think I can get any further than "stuck with this carpet",
I just want the problem with my 1 year old Sectional to be solved!!!
I am hoping they can exchange to an exactly same one (my first choice). Or maybe a different one thats roughly this price.
The tearing part just look way too upsetting to me. Everytime I see the tear, I have to worry about what will happen if the tear is ALL THE WAY THROUGH?!!!
I need this problem to be fixed, if not i will just have to file a complaint towards service of alberta about this situation.
It is not a pretty scene when you get home from work, sit on the sectional and notice this tearing on it. It is just way too upsetting = (
Now I am scare to sit on the other end because I do not want to make this tear even worser than this!
