I have a recliner couch where you can recline at both ends. I was horrified when I had gotten home because I found out that when my girlfriend closed the recliner the night before it crushed one of the three kittens necks. As I looked at his body with her I was horrified. He was actually hanging. I don't know how we will move on and on top of it I'm so worried about her because she feels like a murderer. I have the cat that played with him and cuddled together meowing as he is exploring the house which is abnormal. I think he's looking for him and the kitten that died is the brother of the two girl kittens. This was horrifying. This has happened to other animals from what I heard after this and read about. Please help me. Where can I write to or talk to to convince the manufacture companies to put some safety measurers on it where animals can't get behind the recliners so no one has to go through this same tragedy that will haunt them for the rest of their life. This was berklein furniture. I might have misspelled it, but I would thing that lots of furniture comanies get their recliners from the same manufactures so they are made still in an unsafe way.
