On 7/11/08 I spent about $1000.00 on merchadise from the college 08 series. I purchased 2 futons and a desk to name a few.
On 8/16/08 my son saw a big screen TV and a few other items in their Sunday flyer. However, I noticed several of the items I had purchased at a significant price difference (about$350).
I called the store to ask if I could get a price differential and use that to purchase the other items. I was told that I only had 14days for a price differential. This is not on the back of the receipt. I had to physically bring in the items and reshop them. This was unrealistic due to the size of the items.
I spoke to three people including an assistant manager (manager was not in) who said I was out of luck. I asked for a district managers name and # (since I was planning to use the difference to purchase additional items). No one in the store had the #. I believe the corporate # in available on line. They did give me a useless customer service call center #. I tried it. A man from India read the script he's been given and told me that no one in the company would be able to grant my request.

Incentive would be to purchase the addition items in your store. He couldn't come up with an answer.
On 8/19/08 I spent $1500.00 with a competitor.
