The extended service warranty that I have purchased from The Brick to cover my two furniture sets purchased from The Brick in Langley is a JOKE!!!
The story started more than 6 months (prior to The Brick giving the furniture service contracts to TransGlobal), were they have sent a technician to assess the damage I had in my swivel chair, when he came, he said the base needs replacement, and wrote his report and then disappeared never heard back from The Brick. So after 2 months I decided to follow up again, by that time the service was transferred to TransGlobal who doesn't have a clue about previous logged service requests.
So logged a new service request and a Technician came over after 2 weeks, checked it and again never heard back from him. Chased them for 2 weeks, everytime the response that the technician didn't write his report yet, to cut the long story short, the order got logged for the new base, and now it has been 3 months since this guy came and I haven't yet received anything, today when following up, they said we have ordered the parts april 15th and its not yet 90 days, I have no clue were the 90 days is mentioned in the service contract that the Brick provided me initially.
What if this is a critical thing, or an appliance or your fridge or washer / dryer, talking about washer and dryers same happened to me with the Brick, 2 months in order to get a spare part, and your only alternative if you want a faster solution, go and buy it yourself from the market!!! What a joke!!! This is customer service!!!
