I bought a sofa and a rug from the Pricebusters in Rosedale, MD. I paid for delivery to my home. The sofa was delivered but they told me the rug was a special order and would be in the next week and since I didn't live far (from rosedale) that I could pick it up then. I agreed. After several calls to customer service and the store where I bought it (2 weeks after purchase) I was informed that the rug was on back order and wouldn't be in for two more weeks. Now, 1 month after purchase I was told my rug was in but I have to pick it up at the warehouse which is 30 mins away from me. I told the guy on the phone that I would have to get it on Saturday because my husband works days and they close at 6pm. He said OK. So Saturday I drive 30 mins to the warehouse to find that they are closed. I called the store and they told me they could probably transfer the rug to the store but I would have to call the manager Monday (today). I called today and was told there was nothing they could do. They would not transfer the rug and I would have to find a way to go pick it up at the warehouse. Which is only open until 6PM M-T. SO I called "customer service". I explained the situation and was put on hold for 15 minutes. I hung up and called back and it went to a voice mail box that happens to be full. My guess is it was close to closing time and she didn't want to deal with my problem today. So 1 month after paying for the rug I still dont have it. Have no way to go pick it up from the warehouse and they tell me I'm out of luck and wont talk to me any further.
