My wife and I paid for a dinet set from Ashley Furniture on Peidmont Rd in Atlanta, Ga on 03/29 and set up for myself to pick it up on 04/02 in the morning. My wife called on friday the day before to make sure everything was fine with our order and pick up. She was told all was good. I spent $70.00 to rent a van and gas to pick the set up.
When I arrived at the warehouse to inspect it there was a chair missing. I was then told that is was on backorder and I could come back the following saturday to pick it up. My wife had invited people over for dinnier that night and that is the reason I chose to pick it up myself. After I told the lady at the pick up location that My wife and I wanted what we had paid for I was then told that our other chair was not on backorder but was damaged. And would I rather go with another color perhaps. I of course did not. When I arrived at the store where I paid for the set to get a refund the manager Sabrina did not even come out to offer an apology. I have wasted valuble time and money trying to do business with Ashley Furniture and would certainly never even pull into their parking lot for anything again. You live and learn and they certainly taught me and my wife.
Also have to wait for my refund to be credited back to my card.
