We did a Project loan for our windows. They said our interest rate would be 8.99 if we qualified. I assumed that meant qualified for the loan which we did and they never sent anything with the interest rate the place you can pay doesn't give you your interest rate. I assumed we had the 8.99 percent. They were also running a special 6 months no interest no payments. I paid anyway I had it down 200 dollars. Finally 6 months were up and the interest rate magically appeared on the online pay center. 23.99 percent!!! Not only that but they charged us interest. We were completely lied too. Never again will I ever use the home depot project loan. My credit card from home depot had a 2 year no interest on it and it was high enough to pay for the project and the interest rate is lower then 23.99. Had I have known I would have charged it on my card and I could of pain it off in 2 years. I am very upset and disappointing but you live and you learn and I am letting everyone else out there know to stay away from the project loans at home depot.
