Online giftcard purchase - not worth the problem!

I bought a Shoprite Giftcard On Dec 19 at 11am within the quantity of $25.00 in the Shoprite site. It mentioned on the site that should you requested by end-of December 19, I'd obtain it for Holiday 2006. It's January 22 and we still haven't gotten this product. I approached via email Shoprite on Dec-27 2006 showing that people hadnt received it. I never received a contact. On Dec 30 I named Shoprite via the 1-800 # and talked to I a lady called Mary who mentioned " there is a mistake within the purchasing and also the delivery information was absent, I had been operating alone that evening and didnt possess the time-on consideration she was flooded with 80 purchases that I'd to approach myself to go e-mail you back again to obtain the proper info, therefore she ignore it. I questioned why the pc approved and prepared my charge card. Denise mentioned the pc isnt designed to get on mistakes of this character. I expected her to stop that Gift-Card out and delivered me out an upgraded card. She mentioned she'dnot do this and he or she may delay before unique card was delivered to Shoprite after which and just subsequently would she reissue a brand new giftcard. It's today January 22 but still no card. Im really disappointed using the customer support I've been supplied with your organization. I've been a normal consumer with Shoprite for over 10yrs. I experienced this lady was really unprofessional and it has completed a of addressing Shoprite and Wakefern, particularly when she mentioned she was also busy to check on the info since she was bombarded with 80 purchases. Being the big company that Shoprite is, more team must have been open to meet up with the needs of the gift-card purchases throughout the holidays, and never to supply an extremely unprofessional justification that she was too busy. The web site mentioned in the event that you purchase by December 19 You'd obtain it by December 25. The gift-card was just being shipped to Long Island NY. I am aware it's a hectic time-but I never obtained 1 e-mail detailing the issue or providing atleast an apology.
