I had tried purchasing some fog machine fluid from this company back in Oct. Their website states products will ship within 2 days of purchase. 5 days after I placed my order, I noticed my card had been charged but I never received an e-mail stating that the item had shipped. I e-mailed the company inquiring about the order and asked if it could be cancelled since I needed the item by Halloween. The company cancelled the order but stated that my credit card had been purged from their system so they would need to issue a refund check. They sent me a refund check and the refund check bounced.
I contacted the BBB and the company. The company agreed to pay the $10 service fee I was charged for their bounced check but insisted that they either needed my credit card number to issue the fee to the card or they'd have to issue another check. I told the company I was not going to give them my credit card information because the return code on the check was supposedly fraudulent in nature according to my financial institutions manager.
The company said they could issue me a new check, but I didn't trust that check would bounce nor would my financial institution probably even let me deposit another item from this business. After weeks of battling with them, the company issued me another check which I marked refused on and dropped back in the mail and I have yet to hear from them since. According to the company's facebook page, I'm not the only customer who has been scammed by this company.
