I went to purchase a LED TV. When finalizing the sale I was VERBALLY told "You can get a refund within 30 days, just be sure to keep the original packaging and receipt". Unfortunately, this is not what your WRITTEN RECEIPT declares. The written receipt, which they have you sign after they verbally lie to you face is that your supposed REFUND is actually a "STORE CREDIT ONLY". You WILL NOT get your MONEY BACK.
The 2nd deceptive practice in what they have you believe is that you will receive an complete refund if you return the item factory sealed. Only AGAIN, you WILL NOT receive a refund YOU WILL RECEIVE an STORE CREDIT for Future Purchase. The problem with this one is sooo idiotic, its laughable. Now I ask you, what person is going to purchase an item, only to take it home and then return it within 30 days UNOPENED so that you can get your SUPPOSED REFUND, BTW which you WILL NOT GET even if the package is UNOPENED?
The 3rd RIDICULOUS PRACTICE IS IF you do not use your store credit within 12 months of the date of issue, YOUR CREDITS EXPIRE. So by now you are so PO'd and never want to go back to their store you just lose whatever monies you happen to be suckered into.
I told my wife after this ridiculous practice that I will spread the BAD WORD about VIDEO ONLY and their PREDATORY PRACTICES. And this practice not only stinks, but it REEKS of DESPERATION. I better hurry and use my credit before they go BANKRUPT. As it is imminent.
