After about 20 hang-up calls from this number, i got a letter from this outfit regarding a student loan i owe and cannot pay (unless they'll accept the whopping $40.00 i have on hand as payment in full).
Nearly a week ago, i sent them a letter via certified mail asking for "further information, " including a copy of their letter. I also requested that they contact me (and ONLY me) in writing vs. Telephone calls.
After the letter was sent, i began receiving cheerful messages from "sonny." i did not return the calls; i was awaiting their response.
This letter was posted nearly a week ago. According to the USPS, it "left (their) facility" on the date mailed. I cannot imagine that a certified letter would take a week to get ANYWHERE—let alone two or three states from me.
I suspect service will be refused so they can (a) not provide the detailed info i requested and (b) continue these calls.
