Called Samsung after being told my Best Buy extended warranty would not cover my problem. I had been told the extended warranty would cover the first year manufacturers warranty and they covered the next four years. Well, that isn't true.
Model L40A55OP3FXZA had a class action suit that I was not aware of. No lettter, e-mail or written notification. Therefore, not knowing the powering off and on, clicking and prolonged time turning on was indeed a issue involving the capacitor's on these models. When looking for a number at Samsung in hopes they might help I discovered all the issues with these TV's. Once I did reach Customer Service in S. Carolina, I eventually was placed to Executive Customer Services where I was treated rude and it was apparent they were unwilling to do anything to resolve my situation or help in any way. I was supposedly given the name of David Choi in Ridgefield, NJ where I could write and request help. My next step is to do so. I am thinking, as I look, on the internet that no person exists!
I saw this "Ripoff" site and figured it would be a good sounding board for my problem. I am so frustrated. I have over six transaction numbers for all the hours I have spent trying to get some kind of resolution to my problem. No luck is an understayement.
Sincerely,
Cha
