Geek Squad - Incompetent and poor service

Purchased a Dell Laptop from the same store about 13 months ago. About 2 months ago started to have problem with the display. The screen would intermittenly will disply only lines and will start working properly once you wiggle it back and forth. Searched the Net to identify the problem and the solution was either a loose connection or a new screen. Took it to Best Buy GeeK Squad counter in thesame store and the Geek behind the counter, before even opening the computer said "it may bthe mother board and/or CPU problem. We will need to ship it to the repair center and will cost $ 85 cost of repairs". Really? Talked to the manager on the duty and similar response. Will cost $ 300 plus (when you can buy the screen for $ 65 on-line. Decided to do the repairs myself. However very disappointed in the service and courtesy at the store. I had taken another computer and received the same diagnosis (which again turned out to be inaccurate). I am convinced that these Geeks can not even changwe the battery on the computer if you asked them. Will never ever waste my time using the service or the store.
